Dr. Ziya Kumcuoğlu was born on November 5, 1960, in İzmir, Turkey. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1985 and specialized in Radiology. He began his medical career in 1986 at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, where he worked until 1992. He then continued his professional journey at İzmir Tomography Center (1992–1999) and İzmir Eşrefpaşa Hospital (1999–2010). Since 2008, he has been serving as a radiologist at EGERAD Radiology Center.
With decades of experience, Dr. Kumcuoğlu has specialized in diagnostic radiology and advanced imaging techniques, delivering accurate and reliable diagnoses using modern medical imaging technologies at EGERAD Radiology Center.
He has also actively participated in clinical research and completed various international Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training programs. These programs have enhanced his competencies in patient safety, ethical standards, and current radiological evaluation methods within clinical trials.
Fluent in English, Dr. Kumcuoğlu continues to work as a radiology specialist at EGERAD Radiology Center. He is committed to patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and continuous scientific advancement. His goal is to provide the most accurate diagnoses by integrating the latest technological innovations and radiological techniques, supporting a healthier life for all patients.
